The Vantikcard is a free debit card. You can use it for all your purchases, online or in-store. Every time you use the Vantikcard for your payments you get 1 % cashback on the total amount spent. At the end of the month your total cashback is automatically invested in sustainable ETFs.

How does the Vantikcard waiting list work?

The Vantikcard waiting list works in a simple way: enter your email to put yourself on the list. You will then receive a confirmation email from us. In this email we will explain in detail, how you can secure one of the top spots on the waiting list. The challenge: recommend Vantikcard to as many friends as possible. The more friends you refer to us, the higher you climb on the waiting list - and the faster you receive your Vantikcard.

How do I check my waiting list status?

You can check your status on the waiting list at any time. This way you can always see your spot on the list and whether you should refer more friends to get your Vantikcard even faster.

When will I get my Vantikcard?

The more friends your refer, the faster you will get your Vantikcard. The first batch of cards will be sent out at the end of June.

I already have a Vantik account. How do I get the Vantikcard?

How much does the Vantikcard cost?

The Vantikcard is a free debit card. You do not pay for the card and there are no monthly fees.

How much cashback do I get with my Vantikcard?

Every time you use the Vantikcard to pay online or in-store you get 1 % cashback on the total amount spent. At the end of the month your total cashback is automatically invested in sustainable ETFs.

What happens to my cashback?

You cashback is collected and automatically invested in ETFs at the end of every month. This way your pension starts growing right away.

Which ETFs does my cashback invest in?

Your cashback is automatically invested in the Vantik Fund, a sustainable ETF portfolio. It consists of 60 % stocks, 25 % bonds, 10 % real estate and 5 % commodities.

Do I have to fill out paperwork to get the Vantikcard?

No, you do not have to fill out paperwork. The signup for the Vantikcard is fully digital. Even the authentification happens via VideoIdent. All you need is a smartphone or a computer with webcam.

Do I have to change banks to be able to use my Vantikcard?

No, you do not have to change banks. The Vantikcard is compatible with all German debit accounts. Simply use it like a regular bank card and get cashback on all purchases.

Can I withdraw cash with my Vantikcard?

Unfortunately, this will not be possible to start with. We do, however, plan on offering this feature later in the year.

Can I use my Vantikcard abroad?

Yes, you can use your Vantikcard abroad like any other bank card.

For which payment types can I use my Vantikcard?

You can use your Vantikcard for all cashless purchases. No matter if you use the card to pay online or in-store - you always get 1 % cashback on the total amount spent. Your cashback is automatically invested in ETFs at the end of every month.

Do I have additional ways to save with my Vantikcard?

To begin with you will be able to get cashback with your Vantikcard. Throughout the year we will offer additional features: e.g. you will be able to add monthly savings to your ETFs and round up payments.

Do I have access to my savings?

Yes. Your savings belong to you and only you have access to them. You can adjust or pause your savings rate at any time. You can also withdraw your savings at any time. The only exception is your cashback, which you can cash out only at the time of your retirement.

How long should I save for with the Vantikcard?

Ideally, you keep saving with the Vantikcard until you are happy with your pension. Generally, it is always best to save long-term. That way you profit most from compound interest.

What is the security buffer?

The security buffer protects your savings at the time of your retirement. The buffer is managed by an independent foundation and ensures that you get out at least was you pay into the account. This means that should the market crash at the time of your retirement, your savings are protected.
